>1000 Quotations!

Well people of the internets, you've done us proud. There are now over 1,000 quotes on zomegle, all of which have been submitted by you!

Twelve weeks ago we had around 200 quotes online. Six weeks ago we hit the 500 mark, and now we've hit four-figures! It's pretty clear that more and more people are getting to hear about the site, so thanks to everyone who's spreading the zomegle love.

We'd also like to thank you for the overall quality of submissions we're receiving. Since we launched the site we've seen very few submissions that we have had to reject. That said, we have seen some pretty weird, and at times downright kinky quotes come in... most of which we approved anyway!

We've got a couple of things planned for the site in the near future. Namely a bit of a redesign to make it look better, but also a couple of functional modifications to make things run a bit smoother and to improve the voting system (yes, I know we've been promising this for over a month now, but it will happen. Eventually. We promise).

Thanks again, and keep it ZOMeG!e all the way!

500 Quotes and Risin'

We passed the 500 quote mark a few days ago on zomeg!e. So thanks to everyone who's posted quotes and spread the word about the site!

Additionally, we now have a Zomegle group on facebook!

Also, don't forget to check out Omegle's official facebook group.

Questionable Content

Lately we've seen a rather disturbing rise in somewhat strange submissions to the site. The problem is that the submission form is unrestricted so that we can keep it as easy as possible to submit your funny quotes. Unfortunately, this same ease allows undesirables to submit their mental health problems too.

Our main priority here at zomegle is to not affect the ease of use for legitimate users and for this reason we have removed the link to the unapproved quotes. The main effect that this has is to stop the hubris that is being posted from being public, and therefore hopefully, making it a pointless exercise for the brain-donors behind it.

From what we can tell, most people don't actually use the unapproved quotes list, so the hope is that the vast majority of you won't be inconvenienced!

Happy (z)omegle-ing!

Your Feedback, Please!

Hi there!

We've been up and running a while now with ZOMeGle and we've been getting loads of submissions to the site - nearly 250 so far!

So firstly: a massive thanks to all submitters and voters!

The site is nothing without you guys using it - and it is this that brings me to the point of this post:

What do you think of ZOMeGle?
What do you like?
What do you dislike?
What would you change about it if you could?
What would you like to see added to the site?

All suggestions are welcome and we promise we will look into addressing all the serious ones!

So please, add comments to this post or email us at zomg@zomegle.com

Thanks, and keep posting your funny omegle chats and keep voting!

Happy 200th Quote Day!

I just approved the 200th quote in the ZOMeGle quotes database!

We still need more quotes, so get submitting your funny Omegle chats to zomegle.com - and make sure that you vote on your favourites too.

Also, I would like to say "thank-you" to everyone out there - from the numbers it looks like we've only had to reject 9 submissions so far!

Happy Zomegle-ing!
